Just who is this guy?

I was born in Sacramento on a cold winter day in 1977. Most of the time between then and now was spent causing my parents grief and being poor. After several careers or varying success, including a stint as a salesman and later as a programmer, I finally figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up. I am now pursuing a design degree at California College of the Arts in San Francisco.

When I'm not doing homework, I enjoy playing piano, cooking, singing to myself and finding ways to be contrary. I like talking like a pirate, watching great movies over and over again and checking out live music. I like calling people "kid".

I believe that technology might just save us, that watching (most) TV is bad for your health, and that the only way to judge a mexican restaurant is by their carnitas. I don't think there's any conspiracy in the media, but I do think that most media is biased in precisely the same way because they're largely gutless and lazy. I think Rush Limbaugh is a scumbag and that he and Michael Moore should hold hands and drive off a cliff together. I believe in function over form, unless the form is incredibly sexy like an iPod, in which case I'm willing to comprimise a bit. I am attracted to nerds
